Imagine a place with no laws, no rules, no consequences – where people can rob, rape, and murder at will.
That place exists in “Vice,” which stars Bruce Willis as the owner of an “entertainment” complex where people can act out their darkest fantasies – on human-like androids. But the business comes under fire when one of those androids (Ambyr Childers) retains memories of crimes committed against her and escapes.
It sounds a lot like “The Purge,” but instead of a day when anyone can do anything, “Vice” is a place where anyone can do anything. It’s horrifying and awful, and Childers teams up with a cop (Thomas Jane) to take the resort down.
“Vice” opens in theaters on January 16.
